Campus Medical supports Campus Health centers offering medical solutions for non-acute and non-life-threatening services without having to leave your dorm room. We accept most major health insurance plans, reducing the need to pay out of pocket, and we send any prescriptions to your pharmacy nationwide for no additional charge. In addition, we offer lab testing sent directly to your home or arrange to test a lab nearby.

Health/Sport Physicals

Campus Medical Health provides an opportunity to assess a student’s overall health as a preventive measure. We will:

  • record height and weight
  • take a blood pressure and pulse (heart rate and rhythm)
  • test your vision
  • check the heart, lungs, abdomen, ears, nose, and throat
  • evaluate your posture, joints, strength, and flexibility

We will ask questions related to your health, such as:

  • serious illnesses among family members
  • illnesses that you may have when you were younger or may have now, such as asthma, diabetes, or epilepsy
  • previous hospitalizations or surgeries
  • allergies
  • past injuries (including concussions, sprains, or bone fractures)
  • whether you have ever passed out, felt dizzy, had chest pain, or had trouble breathing during exercise
  • any medications you take (including over-the-counter medications, herbal supplements, and prescription medications)
Birth Control

Birth control is how to prevent pregnancy before it begins. We will help you find the right method to prevent pregnancy for you and your partner. Camous Medical will provide up-to-date, medically accurate information about all of your birth control options, so you can get the method that’s best for you.

Pregnancy Test

How soon can you take a pregnancy test?

You can take a pregnancy test any time after your period is late. That’s when they work the best. Take a pregnancy test as soon as possible if you miss your period or think you might be pregnant.

STD Test

Talking about STD testing might feel awkward but Campus Medical can give you a safe place to talk with people who know what you’re going through.

COVID Testing

Campus Medical now offers COVDI-19 testing for symptomatic and asymptomatic patients who need testing before traveling, returning to school, or college. You will be evaluated by a healthcare provider in order to be tested. then, we will schedule you to the nearest testing locations.

According to the CDC, people with these symptoms may have COVID-19:

  • Fever or chills
  • Cough
  • Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing
  • Fatigue
  • Muscle or body aches
  • Headache
  • New loss of taste or smell
  • Sore throat
  • Congestion or runny nose
  • Nausea or vomiting
  • Diarrhea

** If you have chest pain, shortness of breath, dizziness, a severe headache, or other potentially life-threatening problems, go to the nearest emergency department or call 911.
